Alongside its outstanding cuisine, Gidleigh Park has long enjoyed the reputation of having one of the finest wine lists in the United Kingdom.
During the renewal of Gidleigh Park, a new wine cellar was created within the building and this is where more than 650 bins (about 7000 bottles) are stored in optimum conditions. The Gidleigh Park wine list is broad and extensive, and we are particularly proud of selections from both classic regions of France and elsewhere in Europe as well as from the New World. We have stocks of mature wines that are in perfect condition for drinking now and we are also laying down vintages for future enjoyment.
Our Sommelier is passionate and knowledgeable about wine and will happily discuss your requirements and preferences. For wine lovers and anyone interested in learning more about our wines, the wine cellar can be visited
