Michael's cuisine is truly original and brilliant, developed from his classical French training in some of the finest restaurants in the world. At Gidleigh Park Michael has created a style that is uniquely his own, traditional and highly innovative at the same time, constantly evolving and developing and never failing to delight in the perfect execution. A genuine commitment to local produce from the surrounding area is clearly evident in Michael’s menus, wild game from Dartmoor, fish from the Devon coast and fresh produce from Gidleigh Parks own Kitchen Garden. Michael has a real passion to support independent suppliers and raise the profile of the local area.
