Michael Caines MBE, Executive Chef, and his team are renowned for innovative, modern European cuisine. The Restaurant offers an à la carte menu, as well as a Tasting Menu (changes weekly) and a Classic Tasting Menu (seasonal). The wine list is considered one of the finest and most extensive in the country.
The restaurant is open to non-residents for lunch and dinner. Lunch at Gidleigh Park, followed by a stroll in the grounds, is one of life’s most civilised pleasures.

Gidleigh Park Celebrates Two Michelin Stars For The 10th Year Running
Gidleigh Park restaurant in Chagford, Devon, is delighted to have retained its two Michelin stars for 2009. The Michelin guide is arguably the most revered restaurant guide amongst chefs, restaurant critics and guests alike and Gidleigh Park is honored to be a part of a small group of two star establishments, of which there are only 16 in the UK and three in the South West.
Says Michael Caines MBE, Executive Chef, who is also celebrating his 15th year anniversary at Gidleigh Park: ‘This is fantastic news. I am so proud of my team, who work tirelessly everyday to achieve perfection for all our guests.’
