At the forefront of vine growing and wine making in the UK, Sharpham Estate is widely recognised as producing some of England’s most outstanding wines and handmade cheeses. Situated on the banks of the River Dart near Totnes in South Devon, their vineyards and creamery have been producing wines and unpasteurised cheeses for over twenty years achieving local, national and international acclaim. Your day’s visit to Sharpham Estate includes an instructed tasting of a selection of Sharpham wines and cheese, followed by lunch in the Vineyard Café. 

The ‘Vine to Wine’ stay also gives you the opportunity to experience a private tour of our own award-winning wine cellar which houses over 1,000 bins and to savour the sublime creations of Gidleigh Park’s two Michelin Star, Executive Head Chef Michael Caines MBE. Enjoy Michael’s wonderfully balanced tasting menu on one evening and his creative à la carte menu on another.
