Introduction

Gidleigh Park holds very many special memories for Christina and I - magical times spent with our two young daughters away from the pressures of our publishing business in the 80s and 90s.

As custodians of this wonderful country house hotel on the edge of Dartmoor, we look forward to reintroducing you to its unsurpassed location, luxurious and comfortable rooms, exquisite food and wine, and our friendly team.

We have both enjoyed the renewal of the house, taking regard to both the historical and the architectural significance in its redecoration and refurbishment. Our own collection of early 20th century paintings  features prominently, as in our other hotel The Bath Priory Hotel Restaurant & Spa.
