In the Parkland

Within the grounds of Gidleigh Park there are various outdoor facilities, including a tennis court, a bowling green, championship croquet lawns and an 18-hole putting course designed by the legendary Peter Alliss. This challenging course is tucked away in a sheltered corner and planted with lily ponds, ferns, heathers and azaleas. The 18-hole putting course will close each winter and will re-open again on Good Friday . The putting course is now closed for the winter.   

Anglers can try their hand at fly-fishing on the North Teign River that runs through the estate.

The setting and the beauty of the grounds of Gidleigh Park will inspire artists and photographers.
