Location
Gidleigh Park is situated in the beautiful Dartmoor National Park, in the heart of Devon and just a few miles from Chagford, a historic town, one of only four in Devon, miners traditionally brought their tin here to be weighed and valued.
The Dorset and East Devon Coast World Heritage Site is England’s first natural World Heritage Site, known as the Jurassic Coast, it spans 95 miles of stunning coastline, from East Devon to Dorset. The South West Coast Path runs along the entire length of the Jurassic Coast and reveals thousands of years of history in the rock formations and dramatic coastal outline.
Devon is one of the most popular of English destinations. Bordered by Cornwall to the west, Dorset and Somerset to the east, it is unique amongst English counties in having two separate coastlines.
