Events Diary
Gidleigh Park is situated in 107 acres of mature beech, oak forests and gardens. Our wealth of deciduous woodland and wide varieties of flora and fauna are maintained by our small team of gardeners, headed by Andrew Brimblecombe.
Andrew has worked at the hotel for over fifteen years and has a wealth of knowledge on the grounds and vegetable garden. Paul Griggs, our plant man, cares for the vegetables and herbs which are used in our two Michelin star kitchen.
Dartmoor is flooded with a paint box of colours in the warmer summer months and our garden plays host to a variety of vegetables and herbs that are good enough to eat!
As the beech trees blaze gold against the green of the valley, marking the transition from summer into winter, a rich patchwork of colour blankets the grounds and the gardens. Learn more about the late summer flowers and planting for spring.
