Four Night Christmas Stay

Gidleigh Park is a truly magical place to celebrate Christmas, with the house festively decorated and delectable 2 Michelin star cuisine on which to feast.

Relax in a comfortable armchair next to our roaring fires with a glass of homemade mulled wine, or enjoy a bracing stroll along the North Teign River which runs through the grounds.  On Christmas Day enjoy a traditional menu with all the trimmings, specially created by our Executive Head Chef Michael Caines MBE.   What better place to celebrate the festive season?

We have invited the Singers from Chagford to join us for carols, mince pies and mulled wine for the afternoon of 23 December and on Christmas Eve we have arranged for a wine tasting in the drawing room with our Head Sommelier. After a leisurely breakfast on Boxing Day enjoy a two-hour guided walk with Phil Page who was the NCC/English Nature Site Manager on Dartmoor for over twenty years. 

Menus are seasonal throughout your stay with Michael creating two specially extended menus for Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

The rates show below are daily rates for double occupancy, based on a minimum stay of four nights and include; dinner, morning tea or coffee in your room, cooked or continental breakfast, wine tasting, carol singing, guided walk.  Rates include Government tax with service being left to guest's discretion.
