RESTAURANT
ASSISTANT RESTAURANT MANAGER
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with excellent experience in the world of fine dining and Michelin star cuisine to join our award wining team at Gidleigh Park and help us to provide our excellent levels of service. Gidleigh Park has a 2 Michelin star rating and as such the standards, as well as the guests' expectations are exceptionally high.
The main priorities of this role are to oversee the efficient running of the Restaurant, public areas and Room Service, to manage and control dining room service co-ordinating with kitchen on pace of service, special menu requirements, menu changes etc. and to deliver excellence in customer service, maximising profits and exploiting opportunities for business growth.
Experience in a similar role within a Michelin star, Relais & Chateau property or to a similar standard is essential. You must also have a passion for providing outstanding levels of service and be meticulous in your attention to detail and have proven experience of managing a team of people.

Junior Head Waiter - The main responsibility of this role is to assist in the efficient running of the Restaurant, Public Areas and Room Service by supervising the junior team members to ensure the smooth running of service. Candidates must have worked in a similar role or as a senior Chef de Rang in a Michelin star / 3 rosette or above property.Chef de Rang - Your key areas of responsibility will be to run an efficient and professional station at all times and supervise the Commis de Rang. You will be joining a great team and will be supported all the way in your training and development. Experience as a Commis Waiter working in a Michelin star / 3 rosette or above property is essential together with a passion for delivering excellent service and maintaining the highest standards.
Commis Waiter - Your role as a Commis Waiter is to support the senior team and ensure that service to our guests is efficient and professional. You will need to have had at least twelve months experience in the restaurant industry and a high service level and be willing to learn new skills in order to deliver the best fine dining experience to our guests.

KITCHEN
Great full time opportunities to join the team at Gidleigh Park to provide a fantastic dining experience for our guests. As a 2 Michelin star property the detail of what we do and our standards are extremely high. Previous experience in a similar property, Michelin star or 4/5 AA stars is essential.
Commis Chef - Your main responsibilities will be to prepare food on various sections ensuring that our high standards are maintained and generally assist the senior chefs to prepare and cook each dish.
Chef de Partie - Your will be responsible for the efficient running of a section and ensuring that the food prepared and cooked on your section meet the standards required by the Head Chef and as expected in a 2 Michelin star kitchen. You will have responsibility for the Commis on your section, helping with their training and development. Key to being successful in this role is having a passion for excellent food, a desire to learn and progress, plus a keen eye for detail.

Room Attendant - Applicants should be well presented and willing to work as a part of a passionate team who are dedicated to produce work to the highest standards of service. We take great pride in the cleanliness of the rooms and being able to exceed our guests expectations. Previous experience as room attendant is preffered.
